Faith in your home...

I don't know about you, but I love to decorate my home.

Although, I do have a small apartment now, I have always loved to represent my faith through decorations in my home.

This portrait of Jesus was given to me by my uncle. He said he found it in a trash bin.

We both wondered how someone could throw this away. It's beautiful and I consider it an antique. It looks like it was sketched by pencil. I don't know the exact age of it, but it doesn't matter. I truly believe he found it for me. It hangs near the entrance of my bedroom.

I have also started a cross collection on my little hallway wall. This is what I have so far, but I definitely want to add more.

How do you represent your faith in your home?

Love & Blessings,

Monique

I have a Crucifix in every room. Beneath the Crucifix in my living room is a poster/print of a photo of Mother Teresa of Calcutta and Pope John Paul II. Surrounding those, our family photo and pictures of the kids individually.

I have a picture of "Our Lady of the Streets" hanging in my bedroom beneath a crucifix there.

I would love to add more but wall space for hanging things is very limited.

I have a special cross that was a gift from my parents. That hangs in my room. I have photos from my pilgrimages in various places. And anyone who looks at the bookshelves will see lots of Catholic books.
